Experience the electrifying tabla–drum duet by his disciple Rupak Bhattacharjee, with the fiery Soubhik Lahiri on drums and the soulful Dilip Biswas on harmonium. 1. First part: DASA CHAKRA - The Sources of Energy Taal: Madhya and Druto Jhaaptal of 10 beat rhythm cycle. This is a performance formatted in a traditional way of Tabla Solo incorporating both Tabla and Drums. This has both the improvisational as well as fixed types of compositions. 2. Second part: ANUBHUTI- The Emotions Taal: Dadra Followed by Keharwa, based on a popular bollywood melody - "Mohe panghat pe.." in raaga Piloo. This presentation has been thematized by the variations of theka and extensive application of Laggi -Ladi evoking different moods and emotions.
